i want to start my first series on here for this month talking about how AI is collapsing the algorithmic influencer economy and creating a clear path to cognitive sovereignty. based on what's happening in the sky right now, the time to talk about this is more evident than it ever has been!
on august 12th is when we have the solar eclipse landing in Leo at 20°. this is going on while Jupiter has been in Leo since June. Jupiter and Sun made their conjunction in July already. then the eclipse hits the same sign with Mercury 3 days later. the energy shift that's happening has to do with everything Leo governs like creative expression, the sovereign self, what you actually generate versus what you perform.
and it's landing right as the algorithms on social media platforms are finally confirming what we all kind of knew for months now — that human output, at scale, isn't scarce anymore.
it also shows people to wake up from the life they're pretending is theirs versus what their life actually is.
ever since 2023, pluto has been in aquarius and as we know, leo is aquarius's opposite sign. it's individual expression versus collective systems and pluto is coming in like a wrecking ball, dismantling systems that made surface-level visibility a strategy worth following. the eclipse is the icing on top of this cake, which means the sky agrees with how commoditized the output layer is.

this really is the era of automation, and if your creative work never came from a layer beneath the output — the lived experience, the body knowledge, the pattern recognition — then what you built is something that's the first candidate to not survive during this era. but if your work did come from that, then that layer isn't going anywhere.
an LLM can produce a convincing essay on things it's never experienced before, from deconditioning to creative burnout.
the gap between producing the words and living the reality that makes the words matter is the competitive advantage you have as a person who creates anything, and it's wider than most people realize.
pluto in aquarius is literally dismantling systems that rewards everything the algorithm cares about (consistency, volume, and engagement). and all of these things are available thanks to these machines we have, and they don't sleep, get burnout, or have creative blocks. leo is giving us the stepping stone to examine our creative intelligence and the sovereign self. and the eclipse is activating this work of this axis.
the people panicking about AI taking their creative work built their names using the algorithm's assistance — now they're seeing how the algorithm handles work created by a machine. the few people who are quietly building under all the noise are the ones who see through the algorithm's BS.
your attention that you make people give you when they listen to what you say is the real asset here. not your follower count, posting consistency, or ability to ride on trends before they go stale. leo eclipses interrupt the performance-to-reward feedback loop and show that ai gets exposed to a lot of human output, and that's all it can do and that's what exposure is. but, exposure and attention aren't the same.
your attention is the dedicated focus you bring to something over time. it's when a person chooses to say something — a problem, domain, community or a pattern — long enough that their understanding of it begins to compound.
attention is the difference between someone who can write about burnout versus someone who has lived inside it long enough to know what the 3rd month of it feels like versus the 7th month. the person with attention can write something that makes the reader feel recognized in a specific way. the LLM can produce something that sounds accurate and generalized.

with all of this happening and you being in your typical routine of creating, it's going to feel like you've hit a wall — content you've been building for months may underperform, metrics you track will suddenly feel meaningless, and the strategies that worked before may stop working. this doesn't mean you've failed; it means the system is recalibrating around the fact that human output isn't scarce anymore.
what's scarce is what level of depth and wisdom YOU bring to your work when you're not performing for anybody and that ai can't create.
this is the territory the algorithm can't touch, and it's because structurally it doesn't know how to. it operates as something that just outputs. your actual intelligence operates at the layer beneath it — the layer that produces the output in the first place.
many creators spend their energy on the output later, where they study what the trending audio is, the times they should post based on when their audience is most active, the reach they need to hit, their formats of content they make.
but it's like they're treating creative work like a distribution problem instead of an intelligence problem. and this is considered an extremely expensive distraction.

the way to move forward isn't to sit here and compete with AI at production. it's to stop competing at production altogether and work from the layer AI doesn't have access to — your lived experience, the wounds your body carries, your actual opinions that matter, your willingness to be wrong in public, your refusal to soften the truth.
that's your key to digital sovereignty, and it's the only one that survives the next eighteen months.
name what your attention would be. what does it look like?
mine is being a young woman in my 30s, noticing all the events going on and how astrology and human design connect to all of it. specifically how it all leads to sovereignty and ownership in a world of civilizational shifting. i notice the connections and have trained myself to read current events through the lens of the stars and gates.
the way to find your attention is by looking at what you've been noticing without being asked to do so. what do you see that other people are missing? what could you talk about for hours with no prep? what do you always come back to after years pass by?
stop treating your creative work like a factory and look at it like a signal. the people who need your signal already know what you sound like. they're not finding you for any other reason other than your work speaking to them and having meaning behind it. and no machine, no matter how advanced it is, can produce meaning at scale.
to preserve this signal, this looks like:
- avoiding generic content - lean into being specific with what you're talking about so audiences will know you based on what you say.
- writing complete thoughts on things - write out your actual thoughts that actually deliver on what you promise. these are what people return to.
- creating a body of work with depth and meaning - talk about what led to you discovery on what you're talking about
- naming what you're observing - and do this before everybody else notices
- being narrow in who you talk to - sharing something with a specific set of people is 1000x better than trying to talk to everybody
- owning the relationship between you and your audience - via email or community channel like discord. because we're all just renting space in these platform after all.
remember, the eclipse window is open. build from what's real, everything else will get burned away.
that's where you should start.
